HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once we process and ship out your domestic order or Priority International Mailing order you will be emailed with a tracking number from either USPS or PayPal so you can keep up to date on your products locations and movements. If however you purchased First-Class International Mailing then there most likely will not be tracking, which is why this shipping method is FOB Shipping (see question 1, “Do we offer international shipping?” for what this means). If you purchased the Canada insured shipping method, then tracking will also come with your order.
WHAT IF YOUR DETAILS YOU ENTERED AT CHECKOUT ARE WRONG, OR THE PACKAGE GOES MISSING?
Informal Apparel is not responsible for undeliverable orders due to incorrect or inaccurate address information provided by our customers, or packages lost in transit, though we'll do our best to help resolve any situations that come up!
DO WE DELIVER LOCALLY? HOW DOES THAT WORK?
We do not deliver locally at this time, we only arrange meet-ups in Capitol Hill, Denver. If you are a consistent buyer, we may be able to make an exception, so contact us. If you live locally, this option gives you the ability to not have to wait for shipping, instead getting the items in your hands directly from us, the source. You will also meet either the owner of the company or a trusting co-worker. The option is available at checkout only for Colorado residents, so add the option there to have it applied.
IF A LOCAL PICKUP IS BEING ARRANGED, HOW COME YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA?
You have to pay an extra 7.62% on local pickups because we that is the tax price we must collect on sales made within our City and State. This charge is placed on all orders placed in Colorado on top of the shipping option if you are unable to meet up in Denver, as we are still required to pay the taxes on all sales made to individuals within the entire state that we do business in or are headquartered in.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
If you placed your order from Monday to Friday before 11am MST your order will usually begin processing that same day and will ship within 1-3 business days. Orders placed after 11am MST usually begin processing the following day and will ship 1-3 days after that.
DO WE DO SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION?
We currently will only do signature confirmation on orders $250 or more before shipping. This is to keep our prices low and competitive. However if you want it, just email us at email@example.com and ask about the option! We don't mind adding it to your order if you want the extra security, but we will charge you an extra $3. NOTE that all domestic customers and all Priority International Mailing customers will receive a tracking number for you to constantly stay updated, but signature confirmation is always an extra safety step.
WHAT IS CONSIDERED A BUSINESS DAY?
A business day is any day Monday through Friday that does not fall on a Public or Religious holiday.
WHAT PAYMENTS METHODS DO WE ACCEPT?
We take all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx & Discover) as well as PayPal. If you choose to pay with credit card, your checkout process will be completed on our website. NOTE that prepaid cards do not work through our credit card checkout. If you choose to pay through PayPal, the final steps of the checkout process will be completed through PayPal after you log in to your account.
IT HAS BEEN A COUPLE DAYS, WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER?
Depending on what is happening in Informal’s employees and owners lives, we may fall behind temporarily. If you still have not received your tracking number from us, do not worry, we are trying to get through all orders as quickly as possible. If you really are worried though, shoot us a quick email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond when we can telling you our updates.
YOU EMAILED US THIS MORNING AND IT'S NOW NIGHT OR THE NEXT DAY AND WE STILL HAVEN'T RESPONDED?
Please be patient and bare with us, we try to answer all emails and questions as soon as we can. Usually that happens within 24-48 hours, but if you have not heard from us in the period, send us another email stating that we have not replied, and please leave us your phone number so we can shoot you a text when we do reply. Mistakes can happen and sometimes we can miss your first email inquiry, so a second can sometimes help.
